Can't get AMD Graphics driver update

Hi Guys - I have been trying for the past 2 days to get an update on my AMD Radeon HD 7450 graphics driver. I have downloaded and installed several times, but my dxdiag is still showing that the driver was last updated on 4/26/2012 - I am beyond frustrated at this point and could use some advice on this matter ... the last version I have is 8.3960.11.1000 ... I downloaded a new game yesterday and I have the "black screen" with sound but no graphics ... Thank you again for your help.

You need to uninstall the old driver first. Then you can use display driver uninstaller to remove any leftovers causing issues, before finally installing the new driver.

First remove amd drivers completely and the setups in Windows drive. Restart the computer. Then install new drivers. Don't update, the new drivers on the old one. It sometimes creates this problem.

I don't want to sound like an idiot, but where can I find the old driver to uninstall it?
