I am getting a MSI gaming 5 MB and I am planning on getting 16gb of 4 way ram at DDR3 1866 (Corsair Vengeance 16GB (4 x 4GB) DDR3-1866 Memory). And I'm not sure if they're compatible. Also I'm not sure if I'll need to buy a WiFi card or does the motherboard come with a inuilt one any help would be great thanks

Solution
Good choice on MoBo, bad choice on RAM, you should avoid Corsair Veng series, they're high profile and obstruct in cooler installation. And why 4X4?

They'll run as two pairs of 2X4GB anyways, besides putting more strain on the memory controller. And worst of all, you won't have any upgradibility, ie, if you want to get more memory, you'll have to discard all of them, which's a waste of money and resources.

My suggestion: G.Skill RipJaws X or Corsair LP 2X8GB.

Only the Gaming 9 AC has WiFi, you'll need to get adaptor if you want WiFi on Gaming 5.

I did but I got confused so I came on here to check (1st time build and everything's very new)

The MoBo can definately handle 4X4Gb w/o any considerable performance decrease, but the real drawback is:

Your MoBo has 4 slots, and all get populated.

Down the road, you want to upgrade memory for xyz reason to like 24GB or 32GB.

You read up on net about compatibility, and find you'll have to discard the current sticks (FROM THE MOBO) to put in new sticks as sticks are not so fond of working with non-pairs.

The same applies to 2X8GB but they're known to work more often than not as they're in their DIMM config. Whereas, you need to take atleast 2 4GB sticks out and you lose 8GB of memory when you plan to upgrade.
