Ok so I've been trying to play Bioshock Infinite but when moving around often my mouse ends up on the side of the screen and becomes visible, if I click it ends up minimizing the game. I played the game once about a month ago and it didn't do this. I've had the issue with other games once of twice but clicking back in fixed it, on Bioshock it doesn't. Does anyone know what could be causing it or how to fix it? I'm running it on ultra settings 1080p and full-screen. I have a second monitor but when I play it's disconnected and set to the single display of my laptop I only use the monitor to play racing games and haven't had a problem with them.

Where do I uncheck windowed mode? In Bioshock there wasn't a setting for it there was either Full-screen, full-screen(windowed), or windowed. I had it set to full-screen is it somewhere else?

Dead Space works fune, the mouse is just very sensitive in it. And I've tried googling a fix but noones situation matches mine that I've found. Mine goes into fullscreen and stays there but for some reason when the mouse reaches the edges the normal mouse icon appears. In bioshock turning the character will end with the mouse on the side then shooting causes it to minimize. World of Tanks it only happens when I have control of the normal in-game mouse like when selecting a vehicle, when I'm using the mouse to turn the turret it never appears on the edge of the screen. I'm using a Logitech G700S but even using the mousepad it still did it.

Ok so it's working right now. My friend said Steam being up caused it on his computer but that didn't help mine. Instead I ended about 10 different background processes. One was called Active Desktop others were a Linux server for college which runs in the background whether or not I start it, stopping those kept me from clicking out of World of Tanks and Bioshock Infinite, I'll try it again tomorrow to make sure it's fixed.

Didn't work but found the solution. The program I had to install for school NoMachine runs in the background 24/7 and was causing the issue. Ending one of it's processes (I believe it was called virtual monitor) ended up fixing the issue, now in-game I won't see my normal mouse at all until I quit.
