asus z97 deluxe nfc/wlc ram choice

Jenko here I am looking for help in my choice of ram for the asus z 97 deluxe nfc/wlc mobo. I do plane to use the one click oc option also 16 gb vs. 32 gb . what saidth you all?

This is a program from 2006, that only really needs a system with 256MB of RAM. The highest they recommend is 2GB of RAM. They do suggest fast RAM, but this is so old that all RAM in use is faster than the RAM they would of had at the time of writing about this program. So chances are that you will never use more than 8GB of RAM still, and you could probably run multiple monitors, with multiple virtual machines running that program and still not pass 16GB of RAM used without having at least 4 of those going.
Asus is a good solid motherboard.

16GB is plenty, I have 16GB and except when I was compressing like 80GB of files this one time, I have never used more than 6GB. Games don't make much use of it.

For the one-click OC, I would advise against it. It will raise your power and only give a very small OC. You would get a lot better results by overclocking yourself. Its not hard to learn.

THANK YOU for your response to my post. Now you say that games don't much use the memory, however I must point out one sim that I will be running a lot and that is MS Flight Sim X. form what I have been able to learn it is quite the memory hog just from the stand point of its rendering capacbility. with this in mine would not the full 32 gig be in order? by the way I plan on using the intel 4790k proc.
