After running Windows repair disc(and selecting Repair) for my corrupted boot record of windows 7, is it possible to recover the partition and its data ?
Or i can correct it by just running System Restore option in Repair Disc ?

Solution
Alright, so the good news is most likely your data is intact. Before doing anything else I would try to backup your data first of all. You can get a USB to SATA/IDE adapter which is the easiest way. About $20 on newegg.com The other way would be to connect you drive to a working system and copy your data. From there you can try to recover your installation or reinstall the OS. Reinstall would be the easiest. You can also run the Win install CD/DVD to repair the install.
