I'm building my first PC soon, here are the specs:

AMD FX-8320 3.5GHz 8-Core Processor
Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler
Asus M5A97 R2.0 ATX AM3+ Motherboard
Patriot Signature 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
Intel 320 Series 40GB 2.5" Solid State Drive
Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Sapphire Radeon R9 270X 4GB Dual-X Video Card

Will a Corsair CX 500W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply be ok for this? PCPartPicker estimates the wattage will be 419W. I don't know much about PSUs so I just wanted to check that it will work alright with my new build,
Thanks

yes it will be fine for your system 500 watt psu is the minimum requirement for r9 270x and you can put a 1000watt psu in your system it will not harm your pc the system will draw the required power.

Just an advice dont get the cx series of PSU from corsair they are average PSU not made for gaming PC and comes with crappy capacitors so not at all good for any type of OC get a seasonic 520 watt psu or xfx 550 watt PSU for your system.

no problem and one more thing i want to say is 40 gb ssd enough for you ??
i mean 20 gb the win 64 bit will consume and for other application and drivers 10 gb so you will be left with around 10 gb free space.
