I have noticed that my PC is overheating lately, do not know if this has something to do. It has reached up to 105 ° C temperature

OS: W7
Processor: Core i7 3610QM
SLOT #1: 8GB PC3-10700 (667 MHz)
SLOT #2: 4GB PC3-12800 (800 MHz)

Shouldn't have anything to do with the DRAM, might make sure all case fans are running, and maybe pull the CPU cooler and reapply the thermal compound

Unless that extra ram stick has blocked the airflow in the laptop?

but it would be a very poor design that had a second slot that would block the cooling that badly.

OP - the fan is spinning isn't it?

Thanks for the replies, it leaves in calm about the RAM. My computer is a notebook, an HP Pavilion dv6. It has a HP CoolSense system and it had never been so hot.
RAM stick isn't blocking the airflow in the laptop, I just replace the 4GB RAM (by default) by 8GB RAM in the SLOT #1
