Hi so on my dell alienware x51 i gutted it and now have the motherboard in a new case and it works just fine, when it was in my old case they had two very small fan connected to the motherboard, i can still get to one of the fan connectors the other is covered up by my very large graphics card, but i might still be able to use it. should i use them or keep them straight to my power supply like i have them now. i'm not sure if they will hold enough amperage or my 120 mm fan and my 80 mm fan. so figured i would ask i plan on latter down the road replacing the motherboard with something better as soon as i get my amazon card paid down enough.

So how many fans are you currently running in the new case?

That should be fine as long as the airflow is good and not obstructed... you could install HWMonitor and check temps after the PC has been running for a while just to make sure the temperatures aren't getting extremely high
