Hello everyone
I am shopping for a budget laptop and I have brought it down to 2 choices. I mainly use laptop for lots of browsing, photoshop, google earth and may be autocad but nearly no gaming at all. But I do want my pc to be super fast and responsive all the time.
Please suggest which one should I go for that represent best vqlue for money.

1) Lenovo g50-45 amd a8-6410 8gb 1tb radeon r5 m230 1gb dedicated win 8.1 price 400 euros

2) Hp 15-d series intel i5 3230M 4GB 500gb nvidia 820m dedicated 1gb win 8.0 price 420 euros

My main concern with lenovo is the amd processor and with hp is the cheap and flimsy looking build quality. Lenovo feels very solidly built as compared to hp 15-d series. Did any one have any experiences with these hp? And will a8 with 8gb be better than i5 with 4gb?

Please suggest

Thanks

The key to laptop performance is with the hard drive, not so much the cpu.
When I buy a laptop, I look for the version with the smallest hard drive and ram, planning to upgrade the ram and replacing the hard drive with a SSD.

I like Lenovo. Why not look for one with a intel i3 cpu. Check their outlet store.

I think I will have to rule out hp coz lenovo also feature some added bonuses like usb 3.0, bluetooth and win 8.1 alongside its better asthetics.
I have definite plans to swap the hd to samsung 840 256gb ssd so size of hard disk is not much important.

There is another option of lenovo g50-70 i3 4010u(4th gen) 4gb radeon r5 230m 2gb dedicated win 8.1 for 400 euros same as a8.

So is it money better spent on i3+4gb+2gb m230 or a8+8gb+1gb m230.
