This is late 2014, and you're listing cards that are from 2011 and 2012.. Get with the times and grab a new card, they're only a couple bucks more.
The HD 7790 is only one generation behind, using exactly the same manufacturing process.
The equivalent in current generation cards is the R7 260X. It is a little faster and has TrueAudio support. The power usage is also higher at 115W. It is not a very compelling upgrade.
The GTX 750 Ti is much more impressive, offering similar performance with a TDP of only 60W, but this is a more expensive card.
Choice of card does to some extent rely on the power supply too.
For the GTX 750 Ti you want a power supply with a rating of 18A on the +12V rails.
For the HD 7790 you want a power supply with a rating of 20A on the +12V rails.
For the R7 260X you want a power supply with a rating of 23A on the +12V rails.
For the HD 6850 you want a power supply with a rating of 25A on the +12V rails.
For the GTX 560 you want a power supply with a rating of 28A on the +12V rails.
In order of performance from best to worst:
R7 260X > GTX 750 Ti > HD 7790 > GTX 560 > HD 6850
Most cheap 500W power supplies should be OK with the HD 7790 and I think this is the best value recommendation.
