Hi, yesterday a friend and I built a new system. The system can enter bios with no problems and we have set the boot order to USB, but so far we've not been able to install windows 8 successfully - we just get a few error messages:

"Remove disks or other media.
Press any key to restart."

"Reboot and Select proper Boot device
or Insert Boot Media in selected Boot device and press a key"

"Remove disks or other media
Press any key to restart"

I personally think it is probably the fact that I have not done an install by USB before, and I have downloaded the files incorrectly in some way. It might also be old hard drive, but it was working with no issues in it's previous laptop, and we have wiped it before putting it into this new system.

Bootable USB made from Method 1 from this guide, minus the last step - I got the windows 8 iso file and product key from Microsoft Dreamspark instead.
