Hi guys.
I have this problem, where my computer screen, and extern harddisk turns on for a second with flash of white light, and then goes off again.

I have my Pc as Master, and my monitor and harddisk as slaves in one of those power plugs where everything else is turned off, when the Master is turned off.(Sorry, I dont know the english word for it)

I have the same problem with my Tv, which is in a different powerplug. In addition to the occasional flash of light, I can hear a clicking noise from the powerplug. Almost like i can hear it click on, and then click off, then click on and click off. Always in a sequence of two clicks, even though it can keep going for a minute or two.. This clicking is with ou the flash of light though.

The flashes occurs randomely, and can happend once pr minute or so, orr only once every 10-15 min.. I have tried replacing the plugs, but with no luck. Does anyone have a simiæar problem, or have I just had a ghost follow me from apartment to apartment. I apologise for my english as it is not my first language.
Kind regards Gustav

Perhaps I mis-understood what you actually have?

I was thinking you had one of the automated types that when you turn on the device connected to the master outlet, the strip automatically turns on the other slave outlets for you.

With Mine, you have to turn on the switch that turns on the master outlet and whatever switches I left on for the slave outlets will now also receive power.

So I dump theese power strips I have now, and get the other ones.. What is the difference between the normal Master/Slave powerstrip I have now, and the one on Amazon? Do they work the same way, or is it something completely different?
