Hi I recently built a gaming pc and was wandering about the normal(Idle) and max temp for my CPU and GPU

I have an i5 4690k (which Idles at 36-41*c, is this normal?) with a Noctua NH DH14 cooler [I think my CPU is oc as far as I know when I look in the BIOS it states on cores? 43, 43, 42, 41)
GPU - Sapphire 280x Tri-x OC (Idles at 33 - 37*c and when I play games it goes to around 50 - 60*c)

Are these readings normal? I am currently using HWMonitor and not CoreTemp as my computer seems to freeze when I use coretemp (currently using win 8.1)

More about : normal cpu gpu temp

Idle temps mean nothing, it can idle at 60c, but if it doesn't ever get past 70 it'll be fine. Your GPU can handle 90c, so it should be fine. Nothing seems to be dangerously high, and I wouldn't worry about your temps too much unless you plan on overclocking.
