Monitor: Asus 27" 1440p.
OS: Windows 8 - 64 bit
USB: Razer copperhead mouse, Razer SWTOR MMO mouse, Razor keyboard, Logitech p900 web cam, Zune charging.

I built this computer December of 2012, and it has ran with very little issue until recently.
I was playing a game and on Vent when suddenly the whole system powered down, almost the equivalent of unplugging it. Fans and LEDs turned off. The power button was unresponsive. The NIC still had an orange light, and there was a green light indicating the motherboard still had power.

I briefly turned off the PSU,unplugged it, and plugged it back in, turned it on, and nothing happened. I then left the PSU unplugged for around 30 minutes, plugged it back in, and everything turned on again.

This happens intermittently sometimes 2-3 times in a long day, others it may work for 3+ days (shut down over night).

During one of the times I booted up after the power cycle, after I logged into Windows 8 (typed in password) the keyboard and 2 mice became unresponsive and the USB "just connected" sound repeated. I hit the power bottom to initiate a shut down, and could not turn on the computer until I power cycled the PSU again. This has happened 2 times of about 30 total power off events.

In addition, the computer has powered off while web browsing (reddit), and without a game of system intensive task running earlier. I had to power cycle to get it to turn on again.

I left the computer in the "unable to turn on without power cycle" state for 3 days, and it still required the power cycle before it would turn on.

I used the Asus Suite to monitor all the the Mobo temps, and they all stayed under 37C, and I felt the back of the Graphics card after the power shut down it was hot, but didn't hurt to touch, so likely under 50C.

I tried the "Paperclip" test for the PSU, but the fan doesn't normally turn on until it hits a certain temp, so I couldn't tell if it worked.

I believe this could be PSU or MOBO related (both under warranty). I am tempted to buy a new PSU to test this, because I don't want to RMA it, then get hit with the "it is in working condition" fee from Seasonic.

I was hoping someone else may have some suggestions / thoughts on this situations.

Thank you.
