Hi

I am looking to build a gaming PC for the NextGen games and hopefully run on at least 80 FPS. Above is my build, is there anything I need to change or upgrade to better my build however not being too expensive.

Yes. 280 to 280X, or even R9 285 is slightly better.

And what settings do you plan on getting 80FPS on? This build can't even do that on high.

It's a good build alright, but I will say one thing. IT WILL NOT RUN ANYTHING AT 80fps because the monitor has a V-Refresh of 76 lol you could go 60+ with some games on ultra, but if you really want to kill those next gen games i reccomend FX-8350 CPU and upgrade to 280x. Period.

The i5s outperform the fx 8000s in basically all games though.

Except for games with support for more than 4 cores lol also more games are being optimized for using more cores so fooooture proofness idc really I have a 8350 and r9-280x and it butchers everything thrown at it... excet for payday two idk why it wont work well but otherwise the 8350 is a better long term investment

The i3s beat the FX-8350 in certain games, including some next-gen games. The i5s beat the FX-8350 in everything, including games meant for 8 cores. Not trying to be a fanboy here, but it's true, and I can post professional reviews and framerate tests if you want. Nobody who was informed about how each company's architecture works would make the sorts of claims you're making.

Also, you're CPU bottlenecked in Payday 2. It uses PhysX, so if you have an AMD GPU it gets shoved on to your CPU, which clearly eats weaker CPUs like the i3s or FX series alive. The only ones that can push through it without an Nvidia GPU are the latest gen i5s and i7s.

Alright. Thanks for the info. Although one thing... I wouldnt say "weaker" but all the cpus are for different things. I will probably find some software to help me with physx and if i cant i will simply oc to 4.3ghz. Multithread amd less threads intel

With new engines around the corner, next gen games will be very hard to predict.
We will have to wait and see. Im quite sure a 4K resolution with engines like unreal...

However, seeing as you chose a 23 inch monitor, I can tell you, you are safe for a good amount of time.
Under 27 inches most humans can barely see the difference between 1900x1200 and 1650x1080... even lower sometimes (when i say barely i mean you WILL see a difference, but you will have to look for it).
