first of all, i've much hope for tom's Forum to help me on my daily use PC and play BF 4.

i have this :

VGA : MSI R9 270x Hawk Series
Memory :Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-2133 Memory
PSU : Armageddon 600W 80+ Gold

and I'm having this 2 options to go with my mother board :

Motherboard : Z97 MPOWER / Z97 Gaming 7 - both at the same price at my country.

(please help me choose cause they have their own advantages based on the series)

i was trying to make yellow theme on my rig, but is it worth it to not use the killer ethernet E2200 that available at Z97 gaming 7? because z97 MPOWER didn't have that kind of "ethernet promotionts etc" but i know they have their own advantages, of course.

and i kinda having some sort of dilemma on choosing CPU.

may i go with :

1. Core i5 4460 (for now on my tight budget) until i can get the option 2. is it bottlenecking or not if im playing BF 4 ?

2. Core i5 4670K or higher? (i just wanted my cpu to support the other component like vga etc, in the future. i dont want to have it overkill)

the budget is not the main problem here, i just want my rig components support one another.

Please Help me..

complete answer much appreciated

Solution
Both are great MoBos, Gaming 5 if you can get a 4690k paired with it, because, both are excellent OCers and a non-k with either doesn't make much sense. Also, do you have a MicroCenter near you?
Great choices on MoBo, I'd go with either, both are EXTREMELY good ones. Ethernet is the same, both come with the 'killer Ethernet' and essentially there's no difference.
On CPU, I'd go with 4670k for the sake of future proofing (I hate that term, but still). Getting such good boards and not OCing is like having an ice cream in the hand and not having a bite! Go with Gaming 7 and K version, a solid choice for years to come.
Also, how about downgrading the MoBo to something like Gaming 5 and getting 4690k?

i prefer to gaming 7 cause of the so "many" (imo of course) usb3.0 ports (rear). cause i wanna use it to put multiple external hdd for a a lot of storage. cause i dont wanna plug it out so many times and changing over and over again ( had a bad problem in the past).

and for the MPOWER i just wanna make the theme for "yellow" on my rig. that's all, cause i have this yellow shiny 270x hawk. it just kinda awkward to have red and yellow to mix out like that.. ? and some says the pcb layers gonna make it tough enough on the durability(imo lol, sorry its only my own opinion) of course i cant OC it for now, until i have i5 or i7 to do that, but at least the board is ready for that, so i dont have to buy a new board just for OC.. i know i shouldnt use this board right now, but the price is just the same as gaming 7, at least i dont have to spend more for the OC board.

and 1 problem is, it's really hard to sell used MoBo rather than sell used CPU tho,

and why i have 2 options on the MoBo, because right now is my "2 years upgrade". so i dont wanna upgrade it again in the near future. just to make sure, my MoBo is not too "old school" till the next "year upgrade".

yep, i know that someone gonna says to choose option 2, but right now i can only afford for i3 just to make sure i can play bf 4 till New Year, after that i can change to option 2.

maybe not i5 4460 for now, cause it gonna cost me 100 dollars more just for Non K version and 130$ + for K version , but right now i3 is still good for battlefield 4 ( cause of the hyper threading) or it isnt? or i should keep on i5 just to make sure?
if i3 still good for that, can u give me some opinion to choose between the i3 4130 , i3 4150 (cause that the only i3 series available in my country right now) just for now till next new year paid out..
and because that's the only i3 series available in my country right now for haswell series). of course only for Battlefiield 4. no other games ..

Firstly, BF4 is a very CPU intensive game and the difference b/w i3 and i5 is considerable, hyperthreads are good but a true quad core is optimal.

You won't have ANY difference b/w using G7 or MP MoBo with CPU and both are EXTREMELY good quality and will last longer than you'll be willing to keep, even Gaming 5 or EXTREME6 is enough for i7 K CPUs.

You wouldn't regret any MoBo up from EXTREME4 or Gaming 3 for K or non K CPUs.

What's your budget and what site will you prefer to buy it from? I'd get i5 4690k and Gaming 5.

it will be enough for high. but ultra sometimes tempting.. im just a mid - gamers. im just doing the locker map only, but with 32vs32 players, but just want to feel a bit of snow effects on the locker map on bf 4. does the i5 haswell refresh really needed? or i can stick with i5 / i7 haswell series? it's actually a bit out of topic, but i just curious on that, not that much improvement on ivy or haswell or haswell refresh series tho unless the TDP, isnt it? and how much different on that? ivy - haswell or refresh series? (on a terms of i5 / i7 ivy - haswell series)

Haswell refresh has better integrated heatsinks and more OC capability, and no there isn't any huge difference in terms of performance between ivy and Haswell, 5-10% at most, or we can say a couple fps more at most.
But Haswell has 97 mobo which supports Broadwell which is a nice improvement over ivy as it's two gen ahead.
