Hi, I've recently shipped to a new house, I forgot to do hardwiring throughout my house, so i couldnt use internet cable to connect my desktop to Internet so, what I did was to buy a small usb wireless receiver and plug it to my pc used it for a while then obviously while playing online games I lag ALOT. so I then bought powerline adpators. Here is they model I bought. http://www.amazon.co.uk/TP-Link-PA411KIT-AV500-Powerline-Adapter/dp/B0084Y9N3O
I have 10mbps internet and after using the adaptors, my internet and ping was stable BUT i get sudden ping increase like from 80 till 100+ for a few minutes then drops back to 80 ping.Im using a AP router to connect my first adapter there then the other one in my room to my pc so any options on what should I do? I tried connecting to master router tried parring them up doesn't work. By the way not only when my ping increases the internet slows down too.

Did you test how the network works when connected directly to the router?

Did you check with TP-Link support for possible firmware updates? Did you try rebooting the modem and router?

Are you running anything else while doing this testing like downloads or streaming?

Look for anything new you may have plugged in to your AC power. Transformers, chargers etc all create noise. Plus a neighbor may have done something that impacts you as well. Try a different outlet too. Now you also say that when your ping increases your internet slows down. Did you confirm this through the router or from the Powerline? If it is at the router you have a modem or ISP issue. If its at the powerline device then again same applies its most likely noise in the AC lines. When powerline detects noise it negotiates a new speed so you will see slow down and ping increase.

For your information guys, I think I do not receive the problem anymore now Im facing is pinging to the google.com and others i have 60+ ms which is considered really bad in malaysia of where i stay mostly my IT guy said cant be over 20ms if over the connection is considered bad!

Test the ping directly from the modem, if that is slow, contact your ISP.

I've already ping the router before its usually 4-5ms is that slow? because these days my internet is also getting sh**

Sending a ping to the router is not a test of your internet speeds, you are just sending a packet form the computer to the router which will be very fast. Run a speedtest using dslreports or speedtest.net that will give you a ping and speed time on the actual internet connection. Pinging the router is like timing how long it takes you to walk to your car from your house and saying that is how long the commute to work takes.
