$20,000 workstation runs slower than my 3 year old desktop?

I have a Boxx workstation with a pair of Xeon E5-2640 v2 2.00 GHz CPUs, and a pair of GTX Titan cards and it consistently runs software worse than my 3 year old desktop.

My gut feeling is that it is a driver issue. The cpu is using a microsoft driver from 2006. Seems odd, but I can't find a better one online.

Any ideas?

cpu don't have driver. what apps is running slow?

Good to know. I'm using it for development using Unity3D which currently only has a 32 bit editor. Could that have something to do with it?

32bit only limit the max ram. what is the system requirement for the software? link?

Yeah, kind of a shame when you have 128 gigs of RAM.

Our projects our very large, with lots of assets (trees and vegetation, mostly), but I'm still confused why my home comp would run it better.

are you using the latest version? they might have fixed it for better fore better multi-core support
