Hi guys,
Planning to get a PC custom-built by pcspecialist with a budget of £1500

I'm a regular user of Photoshop/Premiere/AE/C4D with a bit of light gaming.

After 2-3 hours of research, this is the system I've put together:
(bear in mind, I've been working with an i5-650 3.2GHz / GeForce GT 640 til now)

- Intel Xeon Quad Core E3-1231V3 (3.4GHZ)
- ASUS Z87 WS Motherboard
- 32GB KINGSTON HYPER-X FURY DUAL-DDR3 1600MHz 4x8GB
- 2x 2GB NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 760
- 1TB HDD
- Corsair 650W CS Series PSU
- Corsair H55 Hydro Series CPU Cooler

TOTAL: £1370

Any advice would be great! Thank you.

Wow that's a much better list than I put together. Also I get to keep £4.21 :D

I think it's almost there, just not sure if the MSI GTX 780 will perform as good as an official Nvidia card? Also, I already have a 120GB SSD for Disk Cache, and 1TB 7200RPM hdd for extra media storage.

As for putting it together, I tried doing that 2-3 years ago and there were so many compatibility issues. I know which parts go where, I just don't wanna have to return items and troubleshoot for days as it costs me valuable time. Could you recommend a website that can put it together for me?

Last time i payed a local IT technician to build for me. Sad but i had a last minute trip. Maybe you could do that. worth $50.

I dont think i could even find a NVIDIA GTX780. Anyway MSI GTX 780 TWIN FROZR will be faster than a regular GTX780. Its a oced dual cooler gpu.

Thanks for the info filippi - much appreciated.

I've been working on a project but almost ready to purchase your recommended PC components.

*Wanted to quickly ask - is there an easy way to back up my 800GB C drive onto a 1TB external, with the operating system and programs as I have them now? Reason being, I need to wipe my old PC for the new owner. If not, I will transfer folders individually and start afresh.

Thanks again.
p.s 3TB seems more risky, should I not go with 2x1TB for media storage? Also I'm thinking to get a 250GB SSD for the OS/Programs.
