I have Corsair vengeance 8gb 1600 and added two more 8gb (paired) in and now it will not show the original 8 gb for a total 24gb. What did i do wrong?

I even went into bios to confirm and chaged ram slot location and got the same problem.

i ran the original by it's self and it worked fine.

Consult your motherbd manual for which slots the ram should go in.

Try raising DRAM voltage + 0.06, if no joy let us know the mobo, CPU and Model #s of the DRAM (and make sure you have the latest BIOS ;)  )

The manual usually has a chart of how to fill the slots and which slots to use. Not al motherbds are the same. Give slots 1,2,3,4. Some its 2+4 first, others its 3&4, another may be 1+2, or even 1+3. Sometimes you have to put the slowest ram in the first slots...

What make and mode# motherbd do you have?
