I'm rocking a new 1050w seasonic PSU in my rig. Wondering if I might see some performance boost in my physx games if I dedicated an old 9600 gt I found lying around for physx.

Again. I have 2 SLI'd GTX 770 4gbs.

My CPU is an AMD FX 8320.

16gb ram

Probably nothing noticeable. Its a fairly weak card, and SLI 770s is a powerful setup that can handle Physx fairly well.

Thanks! I kind of figured it wouldn't really make a huge difference in my system but I figured why not come ask the experts! :)

Also, not sure if this would factor in favor or against the equation but I'm running a 1440p monitor. (2560x1440p)

The higher the resolution the less impact it would end up having most likely.

So I'm guessing it'd be a better idea to give this thing to my buddy rocking a R9 270x ?

Well an R9 270X isnt going to accept a Nvidia card :p .
It's best to pawn it off to someone whos not all that interested in gaming, but does want a PC upgrade to stay "current"
