Hi all
I have windows 8.1
Recntly a recent update messed it up (got black screen after update and this is not the first time it happened to me, about 6th time!).
Luckily I have a system repair disk but its with my friend who's gone on a trip and won't return till about 2 days (can't wait!).
So my question is, if I reinstall windows, will I have to redownload all steam games (most games are f2p MMOs like blacklight/ghost Recon phantoms/raiderz etc). My windows is in C:/ partition while my steam and steam games are on D:/ partition and C:/ partition is where I will be installing my windows.
Same us for league of legends, will I have to reinstall it? Its also on D:/ partition.

You don't need to redownload steam games fi you reinstall Windows. After reinstall just run Steam and it will auto reinstall any components, it will retain all games etc installed. When running steam games they will propably run the installer first but don't need to download since they are already on the harddrive. Just make sure you make backups of any save games etc if you need (usually in folders under 'My Documents').
