Hey everyone, I quite recently purchased 2 R9 270X's and put them in crossfire, they are both running at X8 mode, with a 750W PSU; and I'm slightly worried about the temps/cooling.

When Idling the cards start out at around 30°c, and then it begins to climb; the highest I've seen while monitoring at idle is 49°c. I ran ungine valley for around 30 minutes the other day to test out load temps and stability, and when I ran that it just kept climbing until it reached 76°c; if I left it on it would have kept on rising. At Christmas I'm switching back to a single card configuration with a single 780ti, however I'm selling the 2 270X's to 2 of my friends to get half of the money; so I really need to keep them running well. I know these cards can keep on running up into the high 90's but I want to keep them as cool as possible.

I'm going to do some tests tonight with some actual games, but if anyone could give me any insight into the temps I should be getting; that would be really helpful.

Solution
I'm not surprised of the higher temperatures, AMD always runs at such thermal levels, unless they're made by companies other than AMD.
As long as the case has good ventilation, you'll be fine.
The R9 290X runs at 90C, so 76 should be nothing to that board set.
