Hi, last night i installed my new gpu, a evga gtx 750 ti ftw with no problems, downloaded drivers off the evga website and finally got to play 'call of duty: ghosts' which had been sitting around for months due to my old gtx 260 being incompatible with direct x 11. My mobo is a ga p55-ud3, psu is a gigabyte 450 watt, cpu is an i7, 8 gig of ram. All of these components are approx 4 years old. Now when I fired up my pc this morning it crashed on the win 7 logo, after powering it off and restarting I had the option of 1) repair windows 2) start windows normally...both options leave me staring at a black screen. Pleeeease help!! How can i boot windows?

Try running it on safemode if you do get in safe mode either its os problem or video card driver problem if you dont.. it was probably a os problem

I can't access safe mode, pressing f8 when loading does nothing, i can access my bios but thats it. I'v looked for someway to start in safe mode from my bios but no luck.

Problem solved! A friend suggested I reset bio settings to default which did the job. I'm back in business :p
