Can a stolen wireless modem be blocked?

My wireless 3g usb modem (Micromax MMX377G) is stolen. I still have the modem's box with serial no., IMEI no. and EAN no. . Frankly I don't think a modem can be blocked/ tracked(without some great influence on some ISP) but still if there's something I can do, please tell me.
The modem didn't have SIM when it was stolen.

It can be blocked in the same way a phone can - block the IMEI, and it won't talk to the network, rendering it useless.

You need to report it stolen to your ISP/cellphone company.
