If you're comfortable doing the upgrades, it's a hell of a lot cheaper than trying to buy a new laptop.

I would say that upgrading would be the better route here as the Samsung 840 Evo is a really fast ssd and plus the 8gb of ram would feel as if you had just bought a new laptop. Hey it will probably be even faster then a new laptop.

Personally I don't know as I have never tried and I don't like to mess with the internals of my laptop.

When i got my laptop i always wanted to expend it's capabilities.
I was thinking to get mac Air but then i need to wait for 6 month for budget so i am thinking on black Friday i'll order this parts from amazon.
any other idea ?

I would upgrade the laptop if you are confident to do it as it can play most games and should be ok for programming.

Remove my old ram and replace that with two of any one ?

If you are going to open your laptop, you might as well clean the fan and change the thermal paste in the process. It helps with the cooling. If your laptop is getting hot too quickly, it could throttle your system and slow down your speed.

Well it's almost as easy as plugging a plug into a electrical outlet. Just have to match the little notch which prevent you from putting it in upside down.
