how to increase the resolution of the laptop than it has?

how can i able to increase the resolution so that i can able to open the tiles in the windows 8. i got the windows 8 and installed it all was fine but the problem was it had the requirement the resolution of 1024 x 768, but the problem was i had only 1024 x 640 in my HP Mini 210-1107TU laptop. so i was unable to open the tiles in the start menu. please suggest me the software that can help me through, or any drives that i must have to be installed. so i can able to increase the screen resolution and i can enjoy my windows.....................

Hello

Please post the type of your laptop.
It sounds like its native resolution is 1024 x 640 in which case you can't increase it.
There might be a software that enables you to see tiles in lower resolutions but I wouldn't recommend using one unless you absolutely need to.
