I am thinking of buying a Sapphire HD7850 and have a 450W PSU.

Link card 1: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Sapphire-AMD-Radeon-7850-1GB-HD...

Link card 2: http://www.ebay.com/itm/NVIDIA-GeForce-GTX-560-Ti-1GB-G...

Is card 1 worth buy? (Being Seller Refurbished)
Which one should I buy?
Can my PSU handle it?

My PSU img link is: http://postimg.org/image/dir1e1mc3/
I run my PC at 240V and have not overclocked anything at all.
core i3 2100 3.1ghz
500gb WD
4gb DDR3 kingston

Hd 7850 is better than gtx 560 ti but it will not that much of an upgrade you will notice little difference plus the card requires 21 amp @ 12 + volt.

I used 9800GT on the same PSU perfectly fine with a 6 pin connector.

as i have seen on hwcompare.com (http://www.hwcompare.com/12187/radeon-hd-7850-vs-radeon...)
that 7850 needs 130W MAX TDP. Calculation gives 130/12= 10.8A.
How do you calculate it to be 21 amps on 12V??

+ my psu has 1- 6 pin connector too (built-in).

If you include the power consumption of your whole pc, your psu won't make it. It probably actually give less than 15 AMps on the 12 V rails.
You risk breaking your pc if you plan to add a 7850 into that system.
Upgrade your psu before attempting to add a 7850.

Thankx for sharing info. :)

I still don't get it.. My PSU says..
Input : 240 V - 4 A
Input : 115 V - 8 A

i'm running my pc on 240 V AC Input.
Link: https://forum-en.msi.com/faq/article/printer/power-requ...

According to the above link, I have used 8600gt (requires 24 A), 9800gt (requires 25-30 A) and gt 630 (requires 20 A). All these cards required amperes greater than I have on PSU (+12V 15A). If that's the case how did I never got any trouble using these cards?

Is this link showing the amperes needed in case of 115V AC Input power? Is it linked to the power output?

I searched on the net. Some ppl say that a 6 pin power connector gives more than 75W. So if the 7850 needs 130W MAX TDP, 130-70= 60 W. IS 60W the only requirement needed from a +12 V 15A ? Sorry but i hope you could understand what i'm trying to say.

Even your psu is still working with the 9800gt doesn't mean you can plug in a 7850 and expect it to work as the same.
When you boot up the system, you not putting much load onto the gpu so it doens't consume much power. Once you begin to use 100% of your gpu, your psu may fail. Just because you didn't have any problems now, doens't make you won't later on.
Why risk your new 7850 and your other components just to not get a new psu. You may need to replace the whole pc if your psu fails. You psu is long overdue for an upgrade anyway.

For a system using a reference clocked single Radeon HD 7850 graphics card AMD specifies a minimum of a 500 Watt or greater power supply. The power supply should also have a combined +12 Volt continuous current rating of 24 Amps or greater and have at least one 6-pin PCI Express supplementary power connector.

Total Power Supply Wattage is NOT the crucial factor in power supply selection!!! Total Continuous Amperage Available on the +12V Rail(s) is the most important factor.
