Hello.

I find the out of the box colors for the RoG Swift kinda washed out, I really miss a gamemode option, which I can find in my old asus monitor. When enabled I get more vibrant colors which work really nice with games.

I tried to up the digital vibrance in the nvidia driver a bit, which made me get better colors, but still does not look the same like on my old Monitor.

Does someone know about a way to get better colors ingame? Is there some way?

I set mine as they did in the Tom's Hardware review here:

I haven't had to change it since. It depends a lot on the lighting in your room. The settings on Tom's give you a good starting point.

These monitors are amazing.

G-sync has changed my whole perspective on a gaming build. Unless you're driving 4K monitors, all you need is a good i7 Intel (mainstream or enthusiast series) one 780 or 780 Ti and an Asus Swift PG278Q.

I wouldn't even bother with a non-G-sync 4K monitor (since at best they run at only 60Hz and have associated tearing, blur and input lag) until Acer releases their G-sync edition next year. And if you need a 4K monitor for your...

Hmm. There is only the option of going Cool-Normal-Warm colors in the options, which dont change the colors radically, like what going from Normal Mode, to Gamemode does.

Is there some other way to change it? Does someone have the Monitor and what calibration have u done? :)

If you're an AMD guy, I'd definitely be looking at the upcoming freeSync technology. If it does turn out to be as good as G-sync, it's going to change the way you build your gaming machine.

These G-sync monitors are pricy, but should be conisdered an investment. But I digress...

Nice, Im glad u like ur New Monitor ;)

How about the colors, are they to your liking? What do u think when u try upping the Digital Vibrance in the Nvidia Control Panel? Getting more lively colors? I think its better to up it at least to 75%, but still not as good as gamemode on my old Monitor xD

Someone think the new gsync Monitors will have a gamemode for preset "gaming colors" And will there come out a a gsync Monitor with specs like the RoG Swift?
