I'm building a system inside a Corsair 300R Case (the windowed version.) It has seven fan slots, and comes with two fans. I was thinking though (for the sake of uniformity), that I want to buy seven fans and install them all, replacing the two stock fans. Nothing fancy for these case fans, just some cheap Enermax or Thermaltake 120mm fans with LED lights. In the cooling department, the only other thing I'm installing is a V8-GTS CPU cooler. I know it doesn't give the most performance per dollar compared to its contemporaries, but I like the way it looks.

Now, what I need help with is:

Would it be a good idea to invest in a modular PSU? I was going to go with a Cooler Master GX650W 80+ Bronze PSU, but it's not modular. I want a tidy job inside the case that I can show off. Anyone with experience working inside a Corsair 300R can tell me if the cable management features on it make spending extra on a modular PSU unnecessary?

Also, I need help with working out the directions of the fans. The seven slots are spread out as follows:

2 in front
2 on top
2 side, next to the GPUs
1 back

Which fans are the best to use as intake and which are the best to use as exhaust? There are air filters on the front and and top panels so I think using those for intake is the obvious choice, but I don't want to rule out other options if there might be a good reason to choose otherwise.

two in and one out is more than enough. Use Corsair fans.

By bottom, do you mean side?

I don't have access to Corsair fans. Noise is not an issue. Is brand that important when it comes to case fans?

Just add another 140mm fan to the front. If you can't get Corsair, anything then.
