Toshiba satellite broken

I accidentally turned off my windows 8 toshiba satellite while it was updating and now when I try to turn it on after the loading screen the screen is still on but it's black and then the I get a message that tells me that it is restarting. I have tried unplugging the cord and taking out the battery but nothing has worked.
Files are not important. Anything would be great help. My laptop came with windows 8 and I got it last year.

I HAD THIS PROBLEM TODAY and i fixed the issue - Honestly best thing to do save you 10hrs -
Format Reinstall apply customer setting turn off ALL automatic DriveR download via installtion just have the internet disconnected aswell while your installing windows -

Cause youl eventually get this error msg athwbx.sys BSOD - Which leads to Infite black screen - no safemode acess nothing -

So once you done that - Download windows 7 .x64 bit drivers if your particular laptop isnt supported - i did and they worked fine -

also aswell - Make sure you download WLAN_A_Atheros_Win81_64_VER1000287.zip DRivers for your network card - Make sure when you do end up doing windows updates untick and hide all Drivers that are showing there cause it...

once you installed every just have a look at C:\Windows\System32\drivers\athwbx.sys Check that make sure its showing this VERison 1000287 and you should be sweet !
