8 g 1600 mhz ram
R9 290 oc

I just installed a new windows 7 .
And saw my WEI on my cpu and ram is 7.7 it was 7.8 on the previous wi dows 7.

What may the problem be ?

Drivers can have a large impact on performance. I would go to asrocks website and download any of the drivers that you may need and install them; however, your Windows score only dropped by .1 which is absolutely negligible. As said, the WEI honestly does not mean anything. When I was using the iGPU, my HD4600 was in the 6-7 range for graphics if that tells you anything. Unless you are noticing real world performance issues I would not worry about it. Do not fake yourself into seeing performance "issues" just because the WEI dropped.

Have fun getting a 7.9 on the CPU score. There are threads devoted to people trying to achieve it. You either need an insane amount of cores or a massive OC to achieve it. Everything else is easy to 7.9 though.

@OP

Please do not attempt to OC on the stock cooler. The 4770k runs hot as it is and putting an OC on the stock cooler will only end up with you being upset and an OC that does not work. I would recommend a cooler such as the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo if it will fit in your case.

I've never seen scores wildly fluctuate like that. On my original hardware from 2011 (i7-950, HD 6770), I got 7.5, 7.5, 7.4, 7.4, 5.9 on Windows 7. On my new hardware today, I get 8.5, 8.5, 8.2, 8.2, 8.1 on Windows 8.1. I always kept my components at stock speeds, except for the occasional slight GPU overclock. And my GPU and hard drive scores actually increased a bit after upgrading my motherboard. So the WEI does seem OK for system benchmarks.

WEI must be moronic, my AMD Phenom II 965 scored 7.9, but my i7 4790k scores 7.8 - my solution, windows is stupid. I hate microsoft, and I especially hate windows. They had to leave me no choice and force me to upgrade to win 3.1, so -
LET'S START AN ONLINE RIOT TO BRING BACK DOS!

Nah, no need. After a GPU upgrade several months ago, my WEI scores are now 8.5, 8.5, 8.8, 8.8, 8.1. :p
