It's got SATA 1 which doesn't have NCQ and possibly no TRIM. That still means you *can* use SSD but performance would be quite curbed by SATA1 limitations. If you insist on SSD you should get yourself some cheap older slower model with good firmware-based automatic garbage collection to avoid performance degradation over time.
