MSI B85i Motherboard Video Problem

I have a new B85i motherboard, which I initially connect to a DVI monitor (which I know works with my other computer with using the same cable), and got nothing on screen at boot up. The fans spin and the power light was working, but no DVI video. I initially thought it was because of a RAM problem so I switched out the RAM and still nothing. I then connected HDMI to my TV, and saw the boot screen and could access the BIOS. I saw that the default integrated video was "PEG" which I thought meant PCI external graphics so I changed it to "IGD" which I think means integrated graphics device. Upon this change and reboot, I get no video on either the HDMI or the DVI outputs. (I don't have a display port monitor or cable so I can't test those). Also, if in PEG mode and the DVI cable is connected at the same time as the HDMI cable, I get no video output on the HDMI either. It seems to only be working through HDMI, and only if I have just the HDMI cable connected. Is this a bad board or do I need to set some jumper switch somewhere, etc..?

Solution
If you have a known-good DVI cable connected to a know-good monitor and the monitor is set to receive DVI, but get no display... the motherboard would be my first thought as being defective. The order of video outputs in BIOS is just the order the BIOS will check for a signal. When it finds one it switches to that.

What CPU are you using?
