Hey all,
Wanted to know if it was worth upgrading to dual ASUS GTX 560 ti's. I have a Sapphire HD 5970 725 MHz 2GB GDDR5. I was going to overclock both, and try and sell the hd 5970. The only thing is that my second graphics card slot is only x4, the top one being x16. Is it worth spending another $100 and would I get a noticeable performance boost?
-thanks, demopan

that would cause your card to underperform by alot .. the 16x card would slow down to the x4 slot and games would be worst than before so its not worth it at all.,. dont even think aboutr it anymore.. i reccommend you save and get a single powerful card for your upgrade

I believe you need at least x8/x8 PCIe slots for SLI to work, so it wouldnt be possible with an x4 slot. Crossfire is possible with x4/x16 (albeit with a performance hit). Also, the 560 ti is a pretty outdated card, is there a particular reason you're choosing this over a more modern 600 or 700 series card?

Well, I was gonna choose 560 ti because I already have one, and my friend is gonna give me another for only $50
