If you plan to go 2xmonitor and upgrade to 4k later get R9 280x instead and do crossfire.. R9 280x has more vram and is better for multiple monitors and higher resolutions.

PSU is good

If I were you I would buy one R9 280x for dual monitor what you plan to do now and if you decide for 4k later I would sell that R9 280x and buy new single card when the time comes

I won't get an AMD card I have had horrible recomendations on most of the card (overheating issues etc.)

Not with aftermarket coolers on the gpu.. sapphire vapor x for example for 280x - 290... it has lower temps than nvidia cards...

Ok then would a
Sapphire Radeon VAPOR-X R9 280X, 3GB GDDR5 (384 Bit), HDMI, 2xDVI, DP TRI-X,FULL (11221-20-40G) be better than the 4gb GTX 770?

no they will be on par with each other in terms of performance ...the gtx 770 will be much better in vram hungry games like watch dogs though

GTX 770 normal is 2GB. now GTX770 with 4 GB is much more expensive, you can get R9 290 or even R9 290x for the same amount of money and they will outperform GTX770 4GB vram for sure

Generally R9 280x won't be better than GTX770 4GB vram model

The model that I listed on here is 10$ more expensive then the 280x

The 770 will play very nicely at 1080p. If you like Nvidia, that card will serve you well.
The 280x is about equal and a bit cheaper. It also plays higher resolutions a wee bit better.
Sapphire is the best brand AMD GPU.

so then go for the gtx 770 4gb no doubt.. you will be better off with the 4gb of vram rather than the 3gb

280x is all you need bud. overheating issues exist on both sides of the fence be it red or green. i'd rather trust on a gpu that has the reputation to be built to handle it and take it like a real manly man. plus its cheaper.

Either/or card is quite good. No matter which one you get, buy one with a good aftermarket cooling solution. Reference coolers = not so great.
Dual or triple fans and 10 to 12 inches of heat dissipation fins = goodness.
It is worth the price difference over a reference design. Make sure you have enough case airflow and fans.

well there are no charts or records indicating that to be a fact. i won't hold it out against you if that is your opinion. all i'm saying is that "overheating issues exist on both sides of the fence be it red or green." no bias opinion towards any brand when it comes to that issue.
