Corsair Gaming Software - K70 RGB problem.

After receiving my K70 RGB this afternoon, I installed the Corsair Gaming Software to change my keyboard's lighting profiles. However, I physically cannot access the "profiles" tab. It is greyed out and obviously shows no life when I click on it.
Does anybody know why this is and is there a solution?
Thanks.

Well what did you find out? Others may stumble upon your post later with the same issue. So its nice to have a solid solution right here. Any links or pictures help too. Thanks!

Also, do you like that keyboard? I was thinking of buying one myself, but can't decide if the RGB LEDs are worth it over the other Red/Blue LED version I saw.

I'm having the same problem. I wish he posted what he did to resolve it. When I run the Corsair Utility Engine (CUE), only my M65 gaming mouse shows up. My K70 rgb keyboard doesn't show up at all, therefore I am unable to change any of the software settings. Not sure why? I uninstalled and reinstalled CUE, but same thing.

Make sure all your USB drivers are up to date. Have you tried unplugging the KB and plug it back in while CUE is running?

Did you plug in both USB connectors from the KB? If you are using USB2.0 ports, you will need both connectors plugged in Connect the one with the two arrows first then the connector with a KB icon.

If you are using USB3.0 port, just plug in the connector that has a KB icon.

My mistake. I just realized that I don't have the K70 RGB, I only have the K70 with red led which doesn't use Corsair's CUE. Sorry, just got new PC and all the gear this week and thought I ordered the RGB version until I checked the box and realized I didn't. Doh! lol. Now I just need to figure out how to get Arma 3 to run at more than 1-15 fps. I'm averaging 1 fps, which is totally unplayable obviously. So annoying.

Can you use the KB's basic functionalities? I'm trying to figure out if you have an issue with power or data enumeration. Make sure your BIOS is up to date, including the USB drivers.

You can also try it on a different system and see if the problem will persist. It's always good to know if it's system dependent or not.
