My PC is wire connected to my office network which allow us to access 3270 application using PCOM 3270 or TN3270. This internal network (intranet) does not allow us to go to internet.. However my company also have a wireless guest network which have internet access. Since my laptop have both the LAN adapter and a wireless adapter. Is it possible to have the LAN adapter connected to intranet to do the 3270 access and have the wireless adapter going to internet using a browser ? I have WINXP or WIN7 laptops. How can I tell the browser to use the wireless connection and PCOM 3270 or TN3270 to use the wired connection.

Solution
If the internal network is simple ie it is a single subnet you can just remove the default gateway from this network either in the network settings or with the ROUTE DELETE command. This will tell you computer to use the internet connection for everything except the one subnet that connects to the internal network. If you have more than a single subnet for the internal network you are going to need to use the ROUTE ADD command for each one and point it to the gateway ip for the internal subnet you PC is one. winxp you can just issue the command win7 you must open the CMD window as administrator mode.
What you will need to do is give your wireless adapter priority over the wired adapter. This way the connection will try the wifi gateway first and when it fails it will then go to the intranet gateway.

You will want to set your WiFi adapter to have a "Interface Metric" of 1 and the wired to be lower (2 shoudl be fine). Look at this link http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/27994/how-to-change-the-priority-of-wiredwireless-network-cards-in-windows/
