I have 2 Radeon HD 5770 1GB eh. In my PCIe 2 & 4 slots: working in Crossfire Mode; But when I plug in my Sound Blaster Recon3D PCIe into an available PCIe x1 lane which has a 32 bit interface slot (the same as PCIe2 (my 1st video card), It disables my 2nd card in crossfire mode. So I changed my SB to the PCIe 3 x1 slot but find that my PCIe 4 will run in x2 mode, disabling my 2nd card in crossfire mode. So I need to know how do I use my SB card and have crossfire also? Does anybody have this kind of knowledge?

Thank you bud but It seems to be completely impossible to do what I want. I have bought the wrong MB No doubt about it! Should have bought the ASRock Killer Z97x board.

well im suer it a great board but as i said with intel the slots configurations need to be looked at hard on then this is my first ever intel build and uses amd for the last 14 years and this was a pain to look at for me and i thought ''how stupid'' , but i do enjoy this intel more that i did my last am3 let downs ..

so any way theres a bit more homework when choosing a intel board than a amd one

about the sme with it the intel way is to pay the big money for the boards with a plx chip on them

The later run in the typical setup, which means x16 with one used, x8/x8 with two used, and x8/x4/x4 if all three are used

PCI Express 3.0 x164 (single at x16; dual at x16 / x16; triple at x8 / x8 / x16: quad at x8 / x8 / x8 / x8)
