Looking at the R9-280. I could use some advice though.

So its been awhile, since I upgraded my graphics card. I decided I am going to go with something in the 200-300 range. I am currently running a HD 6870.

I been thinking of going with the R9 280 card.

Would these card be worthwhile:

Sapphire DUAL-X R9-280
MSI R9 280

Or should I be looking at other cards? I looked at some benchmarks and there doesn't seem to be a huge difference mainly 3-6 fps on average from the R9 280X. Are there any other brands I should be looking at? I went with XFX twice before (Neither one ever gave me issues), but they don't have as good of deals right now.

I am not a hardcore gamer, so I don't see the benefit of just a couple of fps for something roughly $100 more. Also I normally don't overclock my GPU. Though I like the ability to in the future.

Here are my current specs:
OLD GPU: XFX HD-687A-ZHFC Radeon HD 6870 1GB 256-Bit
CPU: Intel i5 3750K
MOBO: GIGABYTE GA-Z77X-UD5H
RAM: 8GBs DDR3-1600
PSU: Corsair TX750W 80+ Bronze

From personal experience, the R9 280-X is horrible.. Its performance is outstanding for the price is( about $329 when I got mine). Ever since the first month after I got mine, i've had nothing but problems, problems, and more problems.. I've taken it to countless pc shops and they all said the same thing - It's a defecting product, the whole series of the 280 is just bad in reliability.. My advice is to get a 770 and stick with it...
