Hello,
I recently purshaced a Samsung 840 evo ssd 500gg, I followed the instructions, cloned the SSD with the Samsung migration software and was successful. I restart my pc go into BIO and set it so the pc boots from the new SSD, then the problems started. It said something like the OS was not installed correctly and to insert the OS disc, restart and boot from the disc then click the 'Repair Windows' after a few attempts it finally worked, windows booted up with my settings said I had to restart the PC for affects to change etc.
Now my PC works fine, the only thing is I have a sperate drive with a folder called 'boot' in it which I assume was the windows repair. Can I merge/move this folder back into the main SSD Local Disc(C: ) section or should I just leave it? I get the message saying the SSD is low on space. I have included a picture with the Hard drives and low disk space message so you can see. Also my old HDD is now Local Disc(F: ) which is fine but this also has made another folder system reserved (G: ) anything I can do with this as well? I want it to just show my SSD and HDD like normal. Oh and another thing. When I boot I see a green loading bar with the windows logo, can't say I have ever seen this before, the green bar that is.
Thanks for any help
