Hi there, i have a problem with my laptop (AMD A-10 5750M 2.5ghz QuadCore with turbo speed upto 3.5ghz QuadCore), I never got speed upto 3.5ghz while plugged in charger, when charging gets full, my cpu works at 2.2ghz with some heating problem however, while converting videos or any other work, it runs at 2ghz, but when i play games it works at speed of 1.4ghz... Please help me out how to fix it...

Turn off power saving settings. Set it to high performance in the Catalyst control center or windows. Although get ready for horrid battery life.

It could also be throttling because of heat. What are your temperatures like when the clock speeds drop? If it is really high, then clean out any dust and get a laptop cooling pad. That should help a lot.

PS: Never block the vents on your laptop either by using it on bed sheets, or couches. This will cause high heat very quickly.

i've already turned off saving settings, set it to high performance in catalyst control center, i am already facing horrible battery life, when the laptop is cool when opening after a long time or opening without connecting charger works superfast at 3.2ghz approx, but when i plug in (even the battery reach 100% and stops charging) it gets heated and works at 1.5ghz... Do i need to reapply the thermal paste on cpu and gpu? laptop vents never gets blocked, i never use it on bedsheets or couches, i do even use a heatpad for it...

There may be a setting in your bios that locks the chip at 3.2ghz as well. It could be something like the cool and quiet option from AMD. Take a look in the bios to see if there is any automatic/dynamic clock speed options and turn them off if so. Same for any power saving options that may be in there.

While your at it, download hardware monitor and let me know your temps. http://www.cpuid.com/downloads/hwmonitor/1.25-setup.exe

HWmonitor had problems with amd apus temps in the past, i dont know if they already fixed it, you can use AMD overdrive to check your temps. Download it [urlExt=download.amd.com/Desktop/aod_setup_4.3.1.0698.exe]here[/urlExt]

In terms of throttling there's not much you can do, at least on a laptop anyway. If it is because of heat, i would buy a cooling fan, not a heatpad for it, and i'd download SpeedFan (http://www.almico.com/speedfan450.exe) and set the fans to run at 100%, all the time.

I checked everything there's nothing which locks the chip at 3.2ghz, even it performs more than 3.2ghz while charging plugged out, and i've disabled all power settings that may reduce the speed, the temperature of cpu while working (i've added a video on convert) is 70 degree Celsius, Do i need to apply the thermal paste on cpu to make it cooler?

Ok, that's way too high. Yes it would definitely be beneficial, as would a cooling fan.

I already use a coolpad, and i don't think its effective...

That's why I suggested to use a fan. Pads actually increase heat.
