Internet keeps disconnecting and reconnecting every 30 minutes.

Throughout the day, 24/7, about every 30 minutes, my internet will disconnect for about 30 seconds and reconnect. Their will be a yellow triangle with and exclamation point over my connection icon in the bottom right taskbar for like 5 seconds and then it disappears. After it vanishes a text box appears above that icon again saying "additional information is needed to connect to this network." It doesnt matter whether I enter my information or not, it will still reconnect. I am connected via ethernet cable. I live in a house with 5 others and they all experience the issue too (they are hooked up wirelessly). This whole issue makes watching videos and doing homework assignments online very frustrating and its nearly impossible to play games. There must be some way to address and fix this issue which is why I have come to you for help. Please respond as soon as possible. Thank you.

Well, if it is happening on multiple machines, it is most likely the modem, or the router. Being that you describe that is is happening on your computer connected via Ethernet cable, this is most likely the modem. Call your ISP, and have them run diagnostics. Also, run a Speedtest before you call, and compare it to what you are paying for.

Just so you know, with 5 simultaneous users all looking to game and watch online video, you will need download speeds of 30-50 mbps. A slow speed tier is going to keep crashing, so you may need to look at your plan as well.
