Like it all (especially that 980 bit hehe) but I would change your MSI MOBO to an Asus Maximus VII Hero. Lots of bias on the forums here, but I have had MSI issues (DOA and then horrid customer support) so I don't really like their products. I've got an Asus Maximus VI Hero and love it though. 200 dollar MOBO and I can't ask for anything else on it. One of the best features? Fantastic audio chip. Really is.

Anyway, the Maximus VII Hero came out a couple months back and I recommend you pick that up.

Also, the PSU is good but the CX series isn't really meant for SLI if you want to go down that road. I would recommend an XFX 750w Black edition, ask XFX and Corsair are made by the same manufacturer (I believe) and XFX is a bit higher quality IMO.

Good luck with the build!

Looks solid, the only thing you could maybe improve is the PSU. Corsair's CX(M) series is okay, but far from fantastic.

Try something like this:

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

Power Supply: XFX ProSeries 750W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply ($89.99 @ NCIX US)
Total: $89.99
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available
Generated by PCPartPicker 2014-09-16 15:23 EDT-0400

Also keep in mind that editing/rendering/etc. actually take advantage of faster RAM. If you can afford it TridentX is excellent.

Ah okay well i tried the XFX like the guy said above, also is this okay?

http://www.amazon.co.uk/G-Skill-F3-1600C7D-16GTX-Trident-Channel-Memory/dp/B009V50T7O/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1410896022&sr=8-1&keywords=TridentX+16gb

because I should be able to afford it as i was going to get this:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Corsair-CMZ16GX3M2A1600C10-Vengeance-Performance-Desktop/dp/B006EWUO22/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1410896044&sr=8-1&keywords=Corsair+Vengeance+16GB+%282+x+8GB%29+DDR3-1600+Memory

which costs £121. the trident costs like £130+

1600MHz CL10 isn't very good, those Tridents are much better. 2400MHz CL10 TridentX is even better but it may be significantly more expensive. EDIT: This RAM: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Skill-PC3-19200-2400MHz-Gaming-Memory/dp/B007V9PZFI/ You may need to give the CPU a slight OC to get it working correctly.

That PSU you linked to is excellent!

The mobo ferwindjacks meant is this one: http://www.amazon.co.uk/1150-ASUS-Maximus-Hero-Motherboard/dp/B00K8MUTMO/

If you can afford the 2400MHz RAM get that, otherwise this RAM will do as well. Everything else is looking really good!

You can go with the 2666MHz RAM as well, but I believe those will push the i7's memory controller to it's limits. That said, if it doesn't work at 2666MHz you can always configure it to run at 2400MHz CL10, like the other RAM.
It'll be a bit more hassle, but if you don't mind that you save a couple pounds and have a chance at even faster RAM.
