I built a gaming computer last January. It runs everything fine except windows 8.1 (i think) Occasionally everything will stops except my audio until my computer screen turns sky bluish and gives a error message with a big ": (" I originally thought it was my processor because i only have stock cooling, so I set it to quiet mode but nothing has changed. Whenever this happens i either turn it off and then it asks to insert a boot device, so i restart it again and it works fine without any problems. How can I fix this? Thank you.

Every time it crashes I check my temp, and its never been above 120 F, which I know is not ideal, but not supposed to auto shut down until 150 or so. My friend mentioned that Windows 8 has problems with AMD processors. Is this a possibility? I have an FX-8320. Do you have a recommendation for a cooling unit?
