55ft to 75 ft Ethernet cable

Looking to purchase a 55ft to 75 ft Ethernet cable my question is how come there are so many cat models 5 5e 6 6e 6a 7 twin axial and coaxail and which one should I get

Cat5e, or Cat 6 (only if they are the same price).
Get the longer one. Better to have 10 feet too much rather than 6" too short.

The different Cat numbers repreent different standards of the cable. Hdmi has multiple versions as do most cables.

As USAFRet said, stick with 5e or 6, both are capabile of gigabit speeds.
Cat 7 wont be utilized by any hardware you have, or any home grade hardware sold for the next several years.

If you live in the USA I recommend Monoprice.com for things like network cables, pretty affordiable and they use pure copper, not aluminum dipped in copper (aka Copper Clad Aluminum).
