Ok, so I am finally sick of pre built media centers and just want to build my own that can do it all.
my goals for it are to do the following:
basics (browse internet watch youtube, hulu, amazon prime video etc)
watch blu ray/dvd/listen to cd's
Stream 1080P h264, specifically movies encoded using x264.
ability to take advantage of steam in home streaming (https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=3629-RIAV-1617)
my budget is around $300-400.
