I want to use two GTX 560 graphics cards (http://www.geforce.com/hardware/desktop-gpus/geforce-gt...) with SLI on my PC, but I’ve read that having the 2 GPUs next to each other will draw much more power among other potential heat issues, etc. I have this 650 watt power supply (http://mypccase.com/seatx12veps11.html) and was wondering if it would be able to handle the load using SLI or should I just get one higher-end GPU instead?

It will draw more power than a single GPU of course but with a Seasonic 650w power supply you are fine. That is an older power supply but with 52 amps available on the 12v rail you are fine.

Sli GTX 560s require a recommended 575w power supply.

One higher end GPU is always better. Not all games support Sli, there can be micro stuttering issues, 2 cards do not double the amount of available VRAM etc. However it will increase your performance over a single card.

You are right. I read the specs for GTX 555 Sli. Nice catch. However the Seasonic he has supplies a full 52 amps for 624 watts on the 12v rail. I would bet anything that is more than enough amps. RealhardtechX over estimates a bit in their calculations. Still it could be close at full draw.
