I have a desktop:
- intel i5-4590
- motherboard: z97 gaming 5
- 1 geforce 750ti
- corsair vengeance (8gb x2): 16gb ram
- SDD 120gb intel
- intel integrated graphic cards 4600

My question is the following:
I currently have 1 geforce 750 Ti, but my motherboard has support for more graphic cards (2 more). What would happen if I add another GeForce 750 Ti to the motherboard (totaling 4gb?), would it cause system inestability, problems/issues with graphics while playing games? (No, I do not have dual monitors, just one).. I read about the SLI for nvidia but these cards dont have SLI, so I'm just wondering.

Regards!

So since it doesn't support SLI the only thing you could do with it is make it a dedicated PhysX card which is not really worth it. Also Z97 doesn't have enough PCIe lanes for more than dual SLI and putting something in the 3rd slot could hobble a dual setup depending on the card. 1 slot = 16x 2 slots = 8x/8x 3 slots 8x/4x/4x and 8x is the "minimum" for SLI.

Since the GTX 750Tis don't have SLI capabilities, your options are very limited.
If I were you, I wouldn't bother buying another GTX 750Ti unless you plan on buying a second monitor.
And no, if you have a power supply that can handle the two cards, it wouldn't cause any system instabilities.

Just a quick tip, also. I think you mixed up "cpu" and "gpu"

In conclusion, yes, you can add another GTX 750Ti in your system if your power supply can handle the two, but it would only be reasonable if you wanted to power a second monitor, because they don't have SLI capabilities.

You can't use 2 GPUs not in SLI to drive 2 different monitors
