Hi, Ive been testing rogRamDisk (asus), softperfect Ramdisk and PrimoRamDisk.
And I have to say that PrimoRamDisk got better CrystalDiskMark score on 4k random, reaching 2300MBps while rog's one did 900MBps and softperfect's 1100MBps.

I think, thats due Primo has an option to allow direct-IO requests. On sequential reads, all reached similar speeds.

But the main disvantages Ive found on this ramdisks are:
ROG: Automatically saves the ramdisk to SSD and restore it on restart. And I want cache ramdisk, so I want it to be deleted at shutdown.
Softperfect: Does not allow Dynamic memory allocation, so if you create a 2GB ramdisk and only use 100mb, you will be wasting 1900mb ram.
Primo: Its perfect, allow dynamic memory allocation, direct-IO and works as temporal disk. But its trial AKA you have to buy a license.

So, anyone knows any decent ramdisk tool?

Just tested DataRam, and here are the benchmarks:

Primo's Ramdisk ( T: ) still doubling other ramdisks in 4k random, which is the most important test for me. I think its due its "direct-IO request" feature.
Dataram's ramdisk ( F: ) was nice in features (even in free version) but its performance its on pair with ROG ramdisk. Both have so low 4k read/write in comparison to others :/

I'm sorry but what is the value in thew "4K". I don't know what it is. I've done much research and will probably purchase the Primo or SuperSpeed-RamDisk Plus in a day or so.
